Where’s George? – Fun and frolics in Gettysburg,
Memorial Week-end 2007

Well indeed it was a memorable week-end. However the
highlights were not as you might expect. Not the soccer, which was OK and
the boys had fun. Not even historic Gettysburg where the significance of
the place was lost on those of us from ‘Yurp’.
No, as always when we go away for tournaments we learn

Mark Leimkuhler has a fetish for Old Navy polo shirts |

Yes, you heard it here first. Whilst many of us spent our
spare time exploring the battlefields and educating ourselves and our
children of the historical significance of the place, Mark sneaked off to
the outlets to satisfy his craving for shirts. Having purchased the entire
stock, he returned to the tournament grinning from ear to ear. |

Secret #2
– Craig Hopefl moonlights as a pizza delivery man |
 |
Another exclusive. While Laura was trying to work out
how to feed us all Craig took out his portable Visa machine, took her order
and delivered the pizzas in style. Unfortunately we forgot to tip him so he
got a bit grumpy and refused to share his beer.
